From original wardrobe and props to set dressing and other production assets, Icons of Pop Culture has always been centered around preserving tangible pieces of entertainment history and connecting them with collectors around the world.
Now, the website is growing to better reflect that mission.

The redesigned Icons of Pop Culture website makes it easier to discover who we are, explore current opportunities and stay connected with what is happening across the world of film and television memorabilia.
Visitors can access our current auctions, learn more about the company and explore a growing collection of editorial content created specifically for collectors and entertainment enthusiasts.
The goal is simple: make Icons more than a place you visit only when an auction is ending.
We want it to become a place collectors return to.

One of the largest additions to the new website is The Backlot.
The Backlot is our new editorial section dedicated to the world behind the screen.

Preserving the Pieces Behind the Screen
Film and television productions create thousands of physical objects.
Costumes are fitted.
Props are fabricated.
Sets are dressed.
Objects are distressed, duplicated, repaired, replaced and photographed.
Then production wraps.
What happens next is the part of the story that has always fascinated us.
Some pieces remain in studio archives. Others are reused, stored or eventually released from production.
A small percentage ultimately find their way into private collections, where they can continue to be preserved long after the cameras stop rolling.
That's where Icons of Pop Culture comes in.
Our goal is to help preserve those pieces, document their history and connect them with collectors who appreciate what they represent.
